TOON VLERICK SOLO

 

 

a solo show is a journey drenched in blues but leaves room for more rock and psychedelic sounds while the story is told. It’s an ever evolving performance built on personal stories through songs. be sure to check out the trio videos for some more ambient music that's also included in a solo concert.

Toon Vlerick is a musician based in Ghent, Belgium. He started out as a jazz guitarist, leading mostly his own trio. Later on he toured Europe for four years with blues & roots band Guy Verlinde & The Mighty Gators.

 

At the moment he’s with indierock collective Absynthe Minded, plays as a solo-artist, works together in a variety of projects with other Ghent-based musicians/artists and is keeping up with a fine reputation as a freelance musician. He’s also Artist In Residence in Missy Sippy, one of Belgium’s finest blues & roots clubs.
